Temple Tuesdays 7.21.15

The only time you will see me get out of bed at 5:30 AM after going to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning, is for Temple Tuesdays! how thankful I am for this amazing opportunity I have to go to the temple ever so often. The temple is a house of God, a place of love and beauty. My heart is filled with the Spirit when I’m in the temple. I seriously can’t help but smile in the temple because I am so filled with gratitude, joy, peace, and comfort. As I sat and pondered before entering the font, I couldn’t help but think of how much joy this gospel brings me. This gospel is so simple, and it all just makes so much sense. It just feels so right and makes so much sense to go the temple and do service for those on the other side, so they can have the opportunity to accept the gospel and how we have the priesthood to perform these ordinances..everything in this gospel is evident that Heavenly Father truly wants each and every one of his sons and daughters to come and live with Him again. Immediately as I thought about this, I felt the Savior’s love for me. I know He loves and knows each of us. I am thankful to have such righteous friends to go to the temple with to do baptisms for the dead. I am thankful for their examples to me and I truly see the light of Christ shining so brightly in each of them. Lastly, I am thankful for the Lord and I am especially thankful for the peace and comfort I feel when I go to the temple. If you haven’t gone to the temple yet, I plead you to go! It is the closest thing to heaven on Earth!
