Along with running into Darren earlier today, we also saw Elder Greene!! Ahh!!! Chad, Alli, and I were driving by the temple and saw a tall missionary right at the crosswalk. I immediately knew it was HOLDEN GREENE!! We yelled his name and he turned around and saw us. He automatically started dancing and pointing towards us. Hahaha, still same old Holdy. Miss that kid way too much, but it really is good to see how happy our missionary friends are. They literally glow, and it is so clear to me that the Lord is taking really good care of them. It's crazy to think that Chad, Alli, and I will be on our missions just later this year. IM SO STOKED!
After church, Jonah and I decided to go to the Provo Temple so I could take his mission pictures. As we were driving, I was deleting pictures off my camera. I ran into an old picture of Jonah and Darren. We then talked about how much we missed him.. Jonah jokingly said, "What if we run into him at the temple today!".. and right when we turned the corner, I saw a line of missionaries walking back to the MTC. And the first one in line was our best friend, ELDER MCEWAN!!! Jonah swerved into the parking lot. I rolled my window down to say hello. It was so good seeing Darren again. He looked happier than ever, and I couldn't be more proud of him and his dedication to the Lord. Even though we saw him for a minute, it still made my week. Running into Darren was definitely a tender mercy and I am so thankful for that. As he left, Darren emailed us a picture of him jumping with a caption of: Me when I saw you guys!! Haha, so Jonah and I decided to take one just like it. It was for sure a happy day!
